The NDoH replied thus:
National Department of Health (South Africa) wrote "Debates about the effectiveness of circumcision in preventing HIV/AIDS are ongoing. The department remains committed to the roll-out of medical male circumcision in accordance with the recommendations from the World Health Organisation (WHO). http://www.facebook.com/l/3ca4e/www.who.int/mediacentre/news/releases/2007/pr10/en/ Circumcision forms one part of our comprehensive HIV prevention package which includes HIV testing and counselling, treatment of STIs, promotion of safer sex practices and promoting the use of male and female condoms".

This is a clear indication they have absolutely no intention of stopping their program of circumcising 2.5 million men in KwaZuluNatal by 2015. They HAVE TO BE STOPPED. I do not have the power to do this myself, it requires the input from national bodies such as NOCIRC SA.

I cannot believe this, nor the National Department of Health (South Africa) stating they are continuing with their circumcision programme. They're insane!

It is astounding that any government can endorse mass mutilation of children. Bizarre really.
The foreskin is not the cause of HIV/AIDS. Not wearing a condom is.

Cutting of children’s foreskins before they are old enough to object to it is child abuse.
Cutting of uneducated men’s foreskins is almost as bad.

Wake up. There is no need for circumcision, we all know it. Give it up and evolve.

Be ashamed KwaZulu-Natal if you let this happen.

Brian Morris is delusional. He believes that any reasonable person would circumcise their son, yet he cannot convince a single professional medical organization in the world to recommend circumcision.

This is an outrage that governments are starting to create policy to perform unnecessary surgery on CHILDREN without their consent, and for no good reason.
Only a condom protects against HIV acquisition with any certainty.....and babies don't need condoms because they are not having sex! So why are we circumcising them 14 years before they can have a say in the matter!
There are so few medical reasons to circumcise a baby/child, this surgical procedure should return to the dark ages.

In their efforts to look like they are doing everything to combat HIV, government has crossed the line in this case.

How do we reach these people in government to voice our objections?
